If you are using Windows 11, you will also need to right-click the executable once it has been extracted, open Properties, and tick the Unblock checkbox at the bottom of the window.
The executable is not digitally signed, so you'll likely get a message saying the publisher can't be trusted. You can bypass this warning by clicking More info, then Run anyway.

Windows 7 or later is recommended.

Linux

If your distribution has support for Flatpak, then you can download and install the game directly from Flathub using your distribution's software manager.

macOS

The recommended way to download and play the game is with the itch app, which will install and update the game automatically for you.

Alternatively, you can download a portable version of the game: simply open the archive, and run the application.

The application is not digitally signed, so you'll need to right-click the game in Finder, click Open, and then click Open again on the pop-up that appears. You may also need to allow the application to run in the Security section of your System Settings.
There is a known bug that prevents the game from running on newer devices with ARM processors (M1, M2, etc.) - you can get around this by forcing the game to run under Rosetta by selecting the game in Finder, pressing Command + I, then checking Open using Rosetta in the Inspector window. For more information, read through the bug report.

macOS 10.12 or later is recommended.
